Health Officials Confirm First WNV-Positive Mosquitoes In Chicago

The Chicago Department of Public Health is confirming the first West Nile Virus positive mosquito batch in the city this year. The Illinois Department of Public Health previously confirmed the first mosquitoes to test positive for the virus in the state on June 1st in the Chicago suburbs. No human cases have been reported so far this year.
