Heavy Rain Expected Through Saturday

Heavy rain is expected to hit the Chicago area today. The National Weather Service says several rounds of torrential rainfall producing thunderstorms will move through the region. A flash flood watch is in effect until tomorrow morning. Flooding for low-lying areas, including farm fields, ditches, and roadways, is possible.
