Heavy Rainfall Tonight With Up to 4 Inches of Rain Possible

Widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected tonight producing 1 to 2 inches of rain in many areas. Locally heavier rainfall of 2 to 4” with some localized flash flooding is possible tonight, mainly across portions of northern Illinois.
