It could be a stormy Tuesday with heavy thunderstorm possible and damaging winds south of Ottawa and Kankakee. Chance for showers remain through early afternoon in Joliet and surrounding areas. Muggy conditions today as those thunderstorms approach with a high of 85. There is a chance for a few showers on Wednesday with a high of 83 and very pleasant and less humid for the rest of the week with temperatures just below 80 degrees.
