Help Taylor’s Kids Is The Headline For a GoFundMe Page Set Up For Slain Joliet Mother Of Three
A GoFundMe page has been set up for a Joliet woman who was allegedly beaten to death by her boyfriend a week ago. Twenty-three year old Taylor Guerra of Joliet was brought to the hospital unconscious by a family member. According to GoFundMe, “Taylor Guerra was taken off life support and passed away with her parents at her side. Without going into too many details due to pending legal reasons, she is a victim of domestic abuse.” The GoFundMe funds will go to the parents of Taylor, Jerry and Lisa Guerra to help in the cost of raising Taylor’s three children ages, 4, 2, and one month old.
Within a day of Taylor being brought to the hospital, Guerra’s boyfriend was arrested after a brief chase. He jumped into the murky waters of the Des Plaines River in Joliet, but was fished out by the Joliet Fire Department. Thirty-year-old Demetrius Glover of Joliet is being held on 2.5 million dollars bond. So far he faces charges of two counts of aggravated battery approved by Will County State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow.
The GoFundMe goal is $100,000 and so far the page has raised over $37,000.
