Today’s winter storm from first event will begin to lighten up by 2 to 3pm…..with very light snow through 6pm…..MOST STEADY SNOWFALL WILL BE OVER BY 2 to 3pm AT ORD and MDW and generally very light across the hardest hit areas.

Total Snowfall by 3pm will be:

OHARE:         5-6″

MIDWAY:      6-7″

Calumet:        8″

Naperville:   6-8″

Plainfield:     8″

Joliet:           10″

Tinley Park:  9″

Crown Point:  10″

Kankakee”     12″

Bradley:    12″

Gary/Lansing:      8-10″

Valpo:      10″

South Bend:   10-12″

DeKalb:    2- 3″

Rockford: 1″

Waukegan:  1- 2″

Round 2 will affect areas from Pontiac to Kankakee where an additional 2 to 4″ will occur between Midnight tonight and Noon THursday!

Round 3 LAKE EFFECT will affect areas from Cook to DuPage and into Southern Lake County where 2 to 6″ can occur from Thursday 6am to 6pm.
