An abandoned historic temple in west suburban Aurora is severely damaged after it caught on fire. The blaze broke out last night inside the Masonic Temple, causing multiple walls and the roof to collapse. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire hasn’t been released. The Masonic Temple was built in 1922 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
