I-80 Inspections Postponed For Several Weeks

Inspections of the I-80 bridge over the Des Plaines River will have to be postponed due to the rain. The bridge has been deemed structurally deficient by the Illinois Economic Policy Institute receiving a 7 out of a possible 100. Inspections are being postponed until after Memorial Day.
