IDNR Reminds Deer Hunters To Be Safe When Hunting From Tree Stands

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters to be safe when hunting from tree stands. Hunters should use safety harnesses when hunting from tree stands in the field. Tree stands are the number-one source of hunting-related accidents and fatalities in Illinois. The 2023 firearm deer season dates take place this weekend and November 30th through December 3rd.
