IDPH Confirms First Mosquito Batches Of 2023 To Test Positive for West Nile Virus

The Illinois Department of Public Health is confirming the first three batches of mosquitoes to test positive for West Nile virus in Illinois this year.  One positive batch was collected in Evanston on Tuesday and two were collected Wednesday in Park Ridge.  No human cases of West Nile virus have been reported so far this year.
