Illinois is adding 100-million-dollars to its “Rainy Day” fund.  With the latest deposit, Illinois now has more than 850-million-dollars in the bank to weather potential economic turbulence.  Governor Pritzker and the General Assembly are working to have a record one-billion-dollars in the account this fiscal year.   Officials say the growing “Rainy Day” fund is one of the many steps towards financial responsibility.
