Illinois AG Finalizes Opioid Settlement

Illinois is set to receive hundreds of millions of dollars as part of a massive opioid settlement. State Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced final approval of the historic national 26-billion-dollar opioid settlement agreement with the nation’s three major pharmaceutical distributors and one manufacturer. Illinois is eligible to get around 760-million-dollars. The majority of the money will be spent on opioid treatment and prevention.
