Illinois leaders and public health advocates are aiming to stop the spread of HIV in Illinois by 2030. Governor Pritzker and health advocates outlined an ambitious plan yesterday called Getting to Zero. The strategy includes expanding access to antiviral drugs for those already infected and preventative medication for people at high risk for getting the disease. The plan also calls for more investment in HIV health care over the next five years.
