Illinois Asian American Caucus Speaks Out Against Anti-Asian Hate

The Illinois Asian American Caucus is speaking out against a spike in anti-Asian hate in a number of cities in the country. The caucus gathered yesterday at the state Capitol on the one-year anniversary of the shootings at three Atlanta-area spas, which claimed the lives of eight people, including six Asian American women. State Representative Theresa Mah said there is concern over racism against Asian Americans within Illinois. The Democrat cites several incidents in Chicago.
