Illinois Attorney General Rejects Reported Settlement With OxyContin Maker

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul says he plans to reject the reported settlement agreement with OxyContin manufacturer Purdue Pharma. Raoul’s office filed a lawsuit against Purdue Pharma in April, joining thousands of other lawsuits from local and state governments affected by the opioid epidemic. Raoul also announced a lawsuit against several other opioid manufacturers.
