Illinois Capitol Renovations Beginning This Summer

Renovations on the Illinois State Capitol will begin this summer. The 210-million-dollar project is meant to make the building more safe and accessible for people who work there as well as visitors. Currently, only a quarter of the building is accessible to those with disabilities. The project will make the building 60-percent accessible.
