Illinois Democrats Champion Fair Tax

Democrats are championing Governor JB Pritzker’s proposed Fair Tax. Lawmakers are proposing three options to help improve the state’s economy, including the Fair Tax. Other options on the table are slashing school funding and senior services, a 20-percent tax increase across the board, or a tax increase for the top three-percent of residents. The Fair Tax would raise the very top earners taxes.
