Illinois Department Of Labor Warns Of Dangers Of Heat While At Work

Officials with the Illinois Department of Labor are warning residents about the dangers of heat in the workplace. Department Assistant Director Jason Keller says employers and employees should be aware of the signs of heatstroke. He added that it is important for workers to stay hydrated while outside. Keller also mentioned that those with underlying medical conditions, seniors, and those who are overweight are more prone to get heat-related illnesses.
