Illinois Eviction Moratorium Ends

The eviction moratorium in Illinois is over. The change means those who have been unable to keep up with rent can be kicked out of their home. Cases were able to be filed as of August 1st but could not go through court procedures until October 1st. Judges say today’s dockets are heavy with eviction cases.
