Illinois Executive Order Helps Disabled Employees

An Illinois executive order will raise wages for people with disabilities employed by state vendors. Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the order yesterday to provide equal wages for people with disabilities. Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton says employees with disabilities earn 87 cents for each dollar an employee without disabilities earns. The order closes that gap.
