Illinois House Advances Gender-Neutral Bathroom Bill

The Illinois House is advancing a gender-neutral bathroom bill.  The House approved a measure that would allow businesses, universities and other building owners to designate multi-occupancy all-gender bathrooms if they choose to do so.  The bill now moves to the Senate.  Current state law requires all single-occupancy public restrooms to be available to all genders.
