Illinois House Democrats Unveil Package Of Tax Cuts

Illinois House Democrats are unveiling their own package of nearly one-point-four-billion-dollars in tax cuts. The cuts were part of a 45-billion-dollar election-year budget that was approved by the House Executive Committee yesterday, just two days before the scheduled end of the spring legislative session. The tax relief falls in the middle of Governor Pritzker’s one-billion-dollar tax relief proposal and a one-point-eight-billion-dollar plan unveiled last week by state Senate Democrats.
