Illinois lawmakers are sending a measure designed to protect patient visitation rights during a pandemic to Governor Pritzker’s desk.  The Republican-sponsored bill received unanimous approval in the state Senate yesterday.  If signed into law, the legislation would require health care facilities to allow patients to receive least one visitor, regardless of whether the governor has declared a public health-related disaster.
