Illinois Monitoring Omicron Variant

Illinois health officials are closely monitoring the new COVID-19 Omicron variant.  No cases of Omicron have been identified in Illinois.  The state’s health department continues to recommend that people get the vaccine and booster.  They also urge everyone to wear a mask in public indoor settings, wash their hands frequently, and physically distancing from others.
