Illinois Receiving Millions For COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout Prep

Illinois is receiving over six-million dollars to prepare for a COVID-19 vaccine rollout. The CDC funding is coming from the CARES Act and will create infrastructure that lawmakers hope will make distribution of the vaccine efficient and safe when one becomes available. The CDC distributed funds based on the population of each state.
