Illinois Rental Payment Program Distributes Over $252M

Governor J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois Housing Development Authority says the Illinois Rental Payment Program had helped over 29-thousand households. The IHDA says the ILRPP have distributed more than 252-million in rental assistance. The program was launched in May 2021 and will pay up to 25-thousand dollars to individual landlords for missed rent payments since June 2020.
