Illinois Reports Highest Daily COVID Count Of 2021

Illinois is experiencing a big spike in COVID-19 cases. Health officials reported yesterday this year’s highest daily total of new coronavirus cases, with more than eleven-thousand. Over the past week, the state has averaged more than 53-hundred daily cases, the highest level since mid-January. Officials say they are starting to see cases associated with family gatherings and travel over the Thanksgiving holiday.
