Illinois Sees Additional 100 Million For Gas Tax Revenue

Illinois is seeing an additional 100-million dollars in revenue from an increase in the gas tax. Since July 1st, consumers in Illinois have been paying an extra 19 cents a gallon for gas. Diesel fuel saw a 24 cent per gallon increase. Revenue from both will be put into the state’s new transportation renewal fund.
