Illinois Senate Approves Bill To Combat Sexual Abuse In Schools

The state Senate passed a bill this week that confronts sexual abuse in schools. Legislator Scott Bennet says the measure instructs schools to teach students about the signs of grooming and requires teachers to take two training sessions on how to identify abuse. The bill now heads to the state House.
