Illinois Senate Committee Advances Bill Requiring School Kids Get Play Time

Public school students will get more play time under a bill that is advancing in an Illinois Senate committee. The measure requires 60 minutes of play time each school day for kids in kindergarten and eighth grade. The proposed bill now goes to the full Senate for a vote.
