Illinois Senate Passes Education Reform Package, Transportation-Related Bill

Three key bills are moving forward after being passed by the Illinois Senate. The state Senate passed the bills yesterday. One dealing with equality in education for all minorities will head to the House for final consideration. Bills allowing collective bargaining by the Chicago Teachers Union and drinking alcohol on trains are headed to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s desk for signing.
