Officials say Illinois is set to receive over 15-billion dollars from a bi-partisan federal infrastructure measure. The bill passed a key procedural vote last week in the Senate. The state is expecting to receive nearly ten billion to repair highways and over a billion to repair bridges. Another four billion is expected over five years to improve public transportation, along with a hundred million to help provide broadband internet coverage.
