Lawmakers are back at the Capitol with a deadline to pass a budget in about a month. Leaders say bills including the legalization of recreational marijuana and sports betting and a graduated income tax need to be passed to create new sources of revenue to pay for capital expenditures. If approved, the marijuana and betting measures are estimated to bring in 380-million dollars to the state. The graduated tax would still need to go on the 2020 ballot if it is approved in the Legislature.
