Illinois State Police Remind Parents Of New Child Seat Law

The Illinois State Police are reminding parents of young children about one of the state’s new laws for 2019.  Starting on January 1st, all children under two-years-old, or under 40 pounds have to ride in a rear-facing car seat.  Troopers say the idea is to make is safer for young children to ride in the car.
