Illinois To Provide Unemployed Parents Three Months Childcare Assistance

The state of Illinois is set to provide three months of childcare assistance to parents seeking employment. Governor J.B. Pritzker announced the initiative yesterday in Chicago. Pritzker also announced planned bonuses of up to a thousand dollars for eligible childcare workers. The program is expected to distribute a total of 300-million to providers across the state.
