Illinois To Receive $38 Million To Fight Opioid Epidemic

The state is being awarded close to 38-million dollars to fight the opioid epidemic. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is issuing the money through the State Opioid Response Grant Program and CDC Overdose Data To Action Funding Program. The federal funding will address addiction and overdoses in communities across Illinois.
