Illinois’ Top Marijuana Official Stepping Down

Illinois‘s top marijuana official is stepping down. Toi Hutchinson is leaving her post as senior adviser for cannabis control to become president and CEO of the Marijuana Policy Project. The national lobbying group led the push to legalize cannabis in Illinois. Previously, Hutchinson served as state senator from 2009 to 2019.
