ISP Takes Measures To Recruit More State Troopers

Illinois State Police is taking measures to recruit more state troopers. The ISP created the new Lateral Entry Training Program. The new program is designed to incentivize current law enforcement officers to increase their opportunities and join ISP. Instead of relocating for Illinois State Police Academy, new recruits will now be able to complete training in their region.
