Jesse White Endorses Anna Valencia To Succeed Him

Retiring Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White is backing Chicago City Clerk Anna Valencia as his replacement. White endorsed her to succeed him in the post he’s held for more than 20 years. White’s endorsement is a major win for Valencia. One her key rivals for the Democratic nomination, Alexi Giannoulias, has the support of several powerful labor unions.
