Jesse White Tumblers Mark 65 Years Of Stunts

The Jesse White Tumblers are celebrating 65 years in existence.  The founder and former Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White showed his gratitude during a ceremony held yesterday at the Jesse White Fieldhouse on Chicago’s North Side.  Mayor Brandon Johnson was among several speakers who talked about White’s life and legacy of teaching youngsters tumbling stunts and how to aim high in life.  The city also unveiled a large statue in front of the center named “Competence,” made from stainless steel utensils.
