Joliet Man Critically Wounds Boy In Shooting During An Argument

A Joliet man is behind bars following a shooting that critically wounded a 17-year-old boy. The crime happened last night at a home in the 900 block of Shiloh Court. Nathaniel Jakes is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated fleeing and eluding a peace officer. The victim is hospitalized after suffering two gunshot wounds.
