Joliet Man Dies One Week After Shooting

The Will County Coroner’s office is reporting the death of a Joliet man.
42-year old Jermane C. Pettigrew was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center. Pettigrew died of a gunshot wound he suffered one week ago.
He was shot in the 300 block of Pine Street in Joliet on Thursday, September 3rd. The Joliet Police Department is investigating the incident.
