Joliet Restaurant Closes Its Doors After 31 Years

After 31 years in business a Joliet restaurant is closing its doors. Diamand’s Family Restaurant, at 3000 Plainfield Road, announced on Thursday that “with the onset of COVID-19 we were forced to close our doors abruptly without any certainty of the future.” The family run business first opened in 1989 and was owned and operated by the Diamand brothers Pete, George and Jim.
