The Kiwanis Club of Joliet is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. The club is celebrating 100 years of service to our community this year.  The Kiwanis Club of Joliet is an organization that promotes leadership through serving others and currently sponsors the Joliet Central, Joliet West and Joliet Catholic Academy High School Key Clubs as well as Builders Clubs at Hufford, Dirksen and Elwood.  Under the leadership of Dr. Guseman and other club volunteers, the Joliet club gives back to the community through various means such as charitable donations to entities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Center for Disability Services, Easter Seals, Guardian Angel Community Services, Old Times Baseball Association and the Spanish Community Center.

“I am proud to serve as a Kiwanis member with other volunteers from the community who give of their time and talent to improve the lives of others,” said Dr. Guseman.

Ralph Sherman succeeded Dr. Guseman as Kiwanis Club of Joliet President and Vince Portlock is serving as the current Kiwanis President.
