Joliet West High School hosts 2019 Pink Heals JT Volleyball Fundraiser
Joliet West High School will host the annual Pink Heals JT Volleyball Fundraiser featuring the Joliet West Tigers vs. Joliet Central Steelmen on Thursday, October 3, 2019 beginning at 4:00 PM at Joliet West High School, located on 401 N. Larkin Avenue in Joliet. The event features raffles and 50/50 tickets sold throughout the event to support the Pink Heals Area Chapter to raise awareness and funds for those battling cancer in the Joliet community.
JTHS will sell Pink Heals Shirts for $12 each at the event. Individuals wearing the shirt may enter the event for free. Otherwise, the cost to enter is $5 per person.
“The Pink Heals event has been a part of our JT volleyball programs since 2008. It has a special meaning to all that have been a part of our volleyball family. We honor all cancer victims, both those that are survivors as well as those that have lost their battle. It’s a great event that raises money for families in our Joliet community,” states Alan Mart, Girls Volleyball Head Coach.
