Joliet Woman in her 60's Arrested For Selling Drugs

Deborah Stone (62, Joliet) was arrested, processed, and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for Delivery of a Controlled Substance

A Joliet woman arrested for drug dealing. Sixty-two year old Deborah Stone of Joliet was arrested, processed, and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (3 Counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Delivery of Cannabis.

Following an investigation conducted by the Joliet Police Department Narcotics Unit, Stone was identified as a suspect in the suspected delivery of narcotics. On August 14, 2023, at 10:20 AM, Officers executed a search warrant on an apartment in the Joliet Housing Authority building located at 400 North Bluff Street. Upon search of the apartment, Officers recovered suspected fentanyl as well as cannabis that appeared to be packaged for sale. Stone was located inside the apartment and was placed into custody without incident.

Bond was set at $25,000 and Stone posted bail.
