Joliet’s Haunted School Open This Weekend

Downtown Joliet’s “Haunted School” will once again open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. When not taken over by ghosts and goblins, the school is St. Joseph Academy, 310 N. Ottawa St. at Crowley.

Admission to the Halloween Haunt is $4 for adults and $3 for children age four through eighth grade. Children three and under are free. Family admissions are $12 for a family of five and $14 for a family of six. Following tours through the Halloween-transformed school, refreshments will be sold outside the school.

St. Joseph Academy is a private, independent school in Joliet’s City Center. The school features a Montessori-based preschool and kindergarten as well as individualized education for elementary and adolescent students. Call 815-723-4567 for more information about the school or the Haunting.
