A federal judge is granting former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich an early end to his supervised release. The judge handed down the order yesterday, 16 months after then-President Trump commuted Blagojevich’s 14-year prison sentence. However, Trump left intact Blagojevich’s two-year period of supervised release, which had been scheduled to expire in February 2022. The 64-year-old was sentenced in 2011 to 14 years in federal prison on corruption charges.
