Jussie Smollett Pleads Not Guilty

Empire actor Jussie Smollett is pleading not guilty to staging a racist and homophobic attack in Chicago in January. Smollett entered a plea of not guilty yesterday to 16 counts of disorderly conduct in a Chicago courtroom. Judge Steven Watkins was assigned to the case. Watkins granted a request allowing Smollett to travel to meet with his attorneys in New York and California.
