Just Before Christmas A Rebate For Property Taxpayers In One School District

For the 6th year in a row, Union School District 81 will be reimbursing property taxpayers. Superintendent and mayor of New Lenox Tim Balderman says over $1.1 million will be distributed. Balderman says the average rebate will be between $1200 and $2000. District 81 covers parts of Joliet and New Lenox.
